The museum of literature is housed in an end-of-the-century house, near the train station of Hasselt, the Provincial capital. The rather small room have each a theme. First there is a room with Flemish autors and illustrators of childrens books. The next room is showing autors writing stories about the former colony Congo. The third theme is about the mining activities and the novels about it. Children, clothed in blue workers clothes with helmets, descend in the cellar that is transformed into a colemine, with sound and lightshow.
