The library was designed with two levels.

On the top floor the city ‘shop’, a local point for the city administration, was incorporated. Vivid colours, special customised designs and the use of Apple computers were used to attract young people into this modern library.

Also a lot of seating possibilities were integrated, to stimulate the staying in the library. We designed the ‘Surfwheel’, a personnal seat to go on the internet.

The Boulevart Library System was here put on higher legs to increase the ergonomic comfort for the users, but also to match with the accordinly designed seats.
